A book that physicians can daj recommend to the families of their patients. A useful and well put together guide about the complex world of Alzheimer dementia and how to care for people who are suffering from it.

The authors offer the realistic advice that sometimes it is better to concede the patient’s frailties than to try to do something about them, and that a compassionate sense of humor often helps. He recommended that all family members read it, but much of the family was avoiding it, claiming it was horrible and too depressing.
